The drive started at 9:00, most of the morning we had very little traffic on the road. What was on the road was tarantulas, millipedes, and turtles. Also we noticed a lot of signs warning about water on the road. And the recent rains have really made a mess of the farm roads.
Lunch was at one of Texas picnic areas
At the gas stop, you really didn’t want to look on the ground, it was just crawling with lots of bugs.
Our stop for the next two nights is in Roswell, New Mexico.
We did go into town and found a IHOP for dinner, on the way back to the RV, we stopped at a market to get a few things.
