Well, we are still heading towards home. We left Prescott where it was cool.
One section of the drive down from Yamell was interesting – I was only doing about 20 to 30 mph. with lots of hairpin turns, it somewhat reminds me of the drive to Shaver Lake. The uphill drive as two lanes, were as the down hill is mostly single lane.
On our way to our stop for the night I noticed that it was getting hotter and hotter.
We stopped at the KOA in Blythe and it was hot - over 100. I almost missed the exit, which is immediately after the checkpoint.
