We got up nice and late, taking advantage of a no move day.
We left to go find the Illinois & Michigan Canal National Heritage Corridor. Our first stop was at a visitor center / museum in Joliet. It is not a true park but a Corridor of recognition. Amanda did get a stamp for her park stamp book.
We stopped back at the RV to get Amanda’s park book and found out the A/C was dripping water on the inside of the RV. It is just too humid and it was causing water droplets, so I took the first cover off to let is drip in a more controlled manner. We put plenty of towels down to catch the drips.
We made it as far as Morris before getting lunch and then finding the canal. On the way back towards Joliet, we were able to find several of the locks, but man was it hot and muggy to do a lot of hiking.
Back at the RV we relaxed and played on the computers.
Dinner was at the buffet tonight.
Laundry night, Cheryl and I waiting on the loads to get done.
I think we have a route planned for tomorrow, but they can change which is fine.
