We got moving at about 9.
We got gas and the RV required 50 gallons of the go go stuff!
We stopped for lunch at a rest area
Next stop was gas again, buy that time I had to slow down my pace from the 59 mph to 56 mph to help reduce the heat from the tires.
After climbing a steep hill, I pulled into a rest area to help cool down the transmission (the gage was at 220 – just a little warm)
After reviewing MyTracks (a gps tracking software on my droid phone) we started the day around 1,000 elevation and we are now camped at over 4,100 elevation, so after our lunch stop, we did nothing but climbing for three fourth of the day. We were on the road for 10 hours and drove 9 hours. A 506 miles day
